Plan-Organize-Recreate: What is the Ultimate Mantra of Life?

In some or the other way, Bollywood has always taught us how to better organize. One such movie is ‘Go Goa Gone’. It is one of my favorite movies because it shows one of the best thinking patterns we all must follow. For anyone who doesn’t know- Luv, Hardik and Bunny are three best friends who are frustrated by their office lives. So, they go to Goa for a Break. In Goa, they end up partying late night in an isolated island. When they wake up in the morning, they discover that the island is full of Zombies. That’s when they come up with the best thinking pattern when ‘In Problem’. Let’s say, they ask themselves the three magical question:

1) What do I know?
2) What can I do?
3) What have I learnt?
These are real simple questions but they bring a lot of clarity to us, if we answer them seriously. This same question format will be the way I’ll write my blogs in future.
Sounds cool?

The first question implies what kind of knowledge we have about a particular problem. It refers as to past experiences regarding the problem. Also, what were our strategies of solving that problem.
The second question is the solution in itself. There are many things we can do to successfully solve our problems. But sometimes we feel stuck, we feel that there is no solution to that problem. Until we go out of the box, i.e. think about it from a different perspective. This different perspective is sometimes randomly given by a friend or a mentor or it just comes to you randomly. Most of the time, it comes unexpected. That ‘Eureka Moment’ is so beautiful in itself, isn’t it?
And if you haven’t thought of changing your perspective, to get out of something like a problem that’s something this blog will do to you! Change your perspective! Until, you really want to stay there in that problem, Make it your life and Stay stagnant with it.
The third question being equally important. What have you actually learnt through this process? I wrote it in the previous blog and I’ll repeat it as many times as it needs, until the importance of reflection in our lives is understood. If you don’t channel things out of your system, you won’t understand it better.
Whatever you have learnt new, must be discussed with either your family member or your friend or anybody you are comfortable with. It can be penned down too. Penning will be highly recommended because penning things down gives us access to that information. If you think penning down is crap, Have you ever read a piece of writing about something you wrote 2-3 years ago? That’s when you realize that you keep evolving. That’s when you realize that even if nothing remarkable happened in your life after writing that piece of writing, you still have evolved so much. The evolution of thinking patterns, of ideologies, of lifestyle, of perspectives.
Tell me, how do you feel when you experience that evolution?
I’ll leave you with that feeling.
To sum up,
Keep this in mind: Reflection implies Growth.
Next three blogs that I am going to write are about: How to better reflect on different aspects of Life?

So stay tuned with me! Because we are going to learn some amazing frameworks we can instantly apply in our lives.
We’ll meet again on Next Monday! Until then Share this blog and do let me know your reviews!

Plan-Organize-Recreate: How to think Right for Successful Life

Do you enjoy being with yourselves, ‘Just you’? If you are made to sit in a room alone for 15-minutes and provided with a button to shock yourself, will you shock yourself up or think for 15-minutes? Stay up with your answer! When Timothy Wilson, a Social Psychologist at University of Virginia, U.S. performed a social experiment to check the ‘Thinking period’ of people. Wilson and his team left the participants alone in the lab room in which they could push a button and shock themselves up if they wished to. Even if the participants agreed to pay money to avoid being shocked with electricity before, 67% of men and 25% of women chose to shock themselves up rather than sit quietly and think. This means that 67% of men and 25% of women couldn’t stand their own thought for 15 minutes. This is so sad that people feel bored and uncomfortable with their own thoughts! On the Contrary, some people are over-thinkers to an extent that they dislike themselves for overthinking ov

Plan-Organize-Recreate: In the Realm of Checklists!

Do you pre-define your tasks for the day? If not, then do you get haunted by thinking about where exactly you are heading in Life? Do you get insecure by thinking about what you are doing with your life? Does the future that you imagined yourself in seems impossible for you sometimes? Do you mess up important stuff in your Life? Do you feel lost after spending 4-5 hours on phone? If the answer is ‘YES’ to any one of the question then the solution is “Make your Check-list”. Let me elaborate for you! When World Health Organization reached Atul Gawande, a Harvard Surgeon, for a project to reduce deaths in surgery. Then, Atul and his team studied some high-risk industries like Sky-scrapper construction and the Aviation Industry. Soon they discovered that these industries have Technology, Training and one other most important thing called ‘Checklists’. Subsequently, Atul and his team with the help of some surgeons systematized and standardized the surgery process. That is, The

Plan-Organize-Recreate: If you find it difficult to stay with a good habit for long? You must read this!

Consider this situation: You read or watch something about staying fit then you decide that you’ll go for a run first in the morning. Why does it happen that some don’t even wake up for it, some wake up think about going but somehow the bed doesn’t leave them, some wake up and go for a run for a day but never continue that, some just go for a week and quit, some quit it after 15 days. Not many but a few people who continue this habit long enough to make it their daily lifestyle. They are the fitter ones. Also, those ‘not many but few’ who make such small but effective habits their ‘daily lifestyle’ are undoubtedly extraordinary. These people move forward from mediocrity and set examples for the society. However cheesy but inspiring this line sounds, majority don’t make up to it. Is it really that hard to bring change ourselves for good? Is it that difficult to create a wonderful lifestyle for ourselves? The thing is, wanting for a change is good. But, How do we make it to the destinati
